Systems Thinking

The world is made of interconnected systems. Understanding how these systems work—and how they break—is essential for making better decisions.

When we look at problems in isolation, we miss the bigger picture. Systems thinking helps us see the relationships between parts, understand feedback loops, and anticipate unintended consequences.

The key is to map out the system: identify the actors, their incentives, the flows of information and resources, and the feedback mechanisms. Only then can we design interventions that actually work.
